Salary: $47,500/yr (paid during seasonal period). 

Position Requirements: The ideal Manager in Training candidate at University of Colorado lives locally in the Denver/Boulder region and has previous experience and/or education in one of the following specialties: sports & entertainment business management, event operations, hospitality, and/or culinary arts. Candidates will be open to potential relocation and willing to travel to beyond the seasonal management expectation.

Position Description: The Levy Management Training Program builds a foundation for you to become successful in the hospitality industry. Our Company strongly believes in developing our managers into the future leaders of our organization, which is why we provide our MITs full, robust and well-rounded training.

In this six month paid Management Training program (August 1st-January 31st, 2018) you will enjoy working in the big leagues with our operations teams in both front and back of house.  Your learning track will consist of an overview of vital aspects of our operations and soft skill training. Your participation in the "on-the-job" training will provide valuable knowledge and experience to enhance your career opportunities

Front of House Track

A rotational practicum to cross-train in the following front of house areas for example:

  • Catering: Private Events, Backstage Catering, Team Catering and Event Day Operations
  • Group Sales: Sales Process and Operation
  • Concessions: Stand, Portable, Bar Operations 
  • Premium: Suite, Club and Restaurant Operations
  • Purchasing: Warehouse Operations
  • Finance: Managing budgets, data and analytics
