Job Requirements
- Walks and stands during entire shift
- Lifts and transports items up to 25 lbs.
- Effective and professional communication with co-workers and guests
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching and lifting
- Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
- English reading and writing required
- Timely and efficient problem solving techniques
Position Overview Supervisor
To represent Levy Restaurants and coordinate all team activities on all suite levels and to ensure that all suite holders are satisfied during their stay.
Prior to the Event:
- Ensure all setup needed on a event by event basis is thoroughly completed
- Check with manager for any special projects.
- Oversee and assist with the setting up of the pantry to ensure that all of the necessary product and equipment are at the proper par levels.
- Check pantry par levels (i.e., beer, soda, snacks, equipment and back up prep) on the day prior to the event.
- Supervise cold and hot food delivery.
- Complete walkthroughs with Manager.
- Complete late orders.
- Review pre-shift notes.
- Review the suites’ assignment list.
- Make sure all miscellaneous items are done such as birthday cakes, whole cakes, whole cheesecakes, etc.
During The Event:
- Oversee team ensuring that all orders are properly put together with all condiments, side items and equipment.
- Assist the pantry coordinators with taking orders during high volume.
- Ensure that any product leaving the pantry is inventoried or has a proper add on slip.
- Obtain the following event sheets and start prep.
- Oversee Dessert Cart setup, distribution and break down
- Spot check the Inventory of dessert carts before they leave the pantry ensuring GOS Sheets are being completed and you are signing off on them.
- Supervise any last minute adjustments needed for the suites. Manager will call in any changes when he or she is on their walk through.
- Check hot and cold boxes for cleanliness and be sure there is no food left inside.
After The Event:
- Spot check of all areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Check that pantry coordinators are taking inventory of food and beverage to bring the pantry back to appropriate par levels.
- Supervise the breakdown and cleaning of the pantries.
- Check dessert carts to ensure they are clean and stored properly.
- All suite areas should be locked.
- Dessert Carts should be cleaned and stored properly.
- Check with the manager before you sign out and punch out.
